Police were dispatched to a domestic disturbance on Spruce Street where a female wanted to leave the residence to go stay with a friend. Before getting into the squad car for transport she was asked if she had any narcotics or weapons. The woman allegedly stated, "I can show you," and began pulling her shirt over her head. Despite police orders to stop, the woman reportedly exposed her breasts and "caused a scene." She was then arrested and charged with indecent exposure and public intoxication.

A Kingsport parent called police after one son, 15, was bit by his 13-year-old brother.

Police responded to the Dollar General in reference to a male and female who appeared intoxicated and were "causing a disturbance" at closing time. The man was found in possession of a candle stolen from the store, two pills and a straw with residue. Inside the woman's purse police allegedly located several syringes, another straw, spoon and two pills. She also allegedly attempted to hide a metal container down her pants, which she retrieved for officers and was found to contain more pills. They each were arrested.
