A Watauga man was arraigned Friday after his arrest on charges of raping a 16-year-old girl, according to documents filed in Washington County General Sessions Court.
Ronald C. King, 35, 1732 Persinger Rd., Watauga, is charged in two cases with aggravated rape, two counts of forcible fondling sexual battery, domestic assault and aggravated assault.
According to court documents, the assault charges stem from King spraying his wife with pepper spray when they argued about allegations he’d had forced sexual contact with the teenager.
Carrie Kilpatrick told investigators she told King to leave or she would call 911. That’s when he grabbed her phone and keys. Kilpatrick told King she would spray him with a keyring canister of pepper spray if he didn’t let go, but he sprayed her in the back of the head with it and pushed her away.
