GREENEVILLE — A three part federal indictment handed down in U.S. District Court in Greeneville on June 13 resulted in 15 people being arrested in the Beech Creek area of Hawkins County Tuesday.
Wednesday morning those 15 defendants were arraigned before federal Magistrate Ronnie Greer.
No age or addresses are listed on the federal indictments.
In Count one, James Light, along with “other persons known and unknown to the grand jury” was indicted for distribution and possession with intent to deliver five kilograms of cocaine.
In count two Michael L. Dykes, Jackie D. Dykes, and Daniel L. Dykes are charged with distribution and possession with intent to distribute 100 kilograms or more of marijuana.
In count three charges all 15 defendants with distribution and possession with itnent to distribute Oxycodone. Defendants named in count thhree include James Light, Michael L. Dykes, Jackie D. Dykes, Lorne L. Loucel, Lisa A. Crawford, Virginia D. Light, Asa Kermit M. Calhoun, Steve A. Gooch, Jonathan L. Light, Jeremy R. Light, Michael B. Dykes, Daniel L. Dykes, Christy D. Dykes, Levi D. Love, and Shandeeda M. Compton Detention hearings for James Light and Jackie Dykes are set for July 3.
