Police visited a resident of Paperville Road after it was reported she was, "yelling and screaming." Once police left the home dispatch received another call, saying she had started the antics again.

A pumpkin was reportedly stolen from the front porch of a home on Riverview Road.
A caller requested police check on juveniles at a county home. The individual claimed to have a picture of one child, "with a bar of soap in her mouth and she was crying."
Oct. 28
Officers observed an occupied vehicle roll down and embankment at a market on Highway 394, coming to a stop in a ditch. The occupant exited and was found to be unsteady on his feet, with police ordering he sit on the ground for his own safety. He performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was arrested.

Oct. 26
Police responded to 911 calls from a residence on West Avenue. An officer looked through the window of a locked door to see a man sitting in the floor, "extremely intoxicated." He reportedly made obscene gestures to fire and police personnel outside his residence — cursing them with slurred speech — then began calling 911 again. A key for the home was located and police entered, finding several empty beer cans and a liquor bottle. The man told police he didn't need anything, had only called 911, "because I like you all." He was arrested and charged with 911 abuse.
Hawkins County Sheriff's Office
Oct. 26
Police observed a vehicle on 11W cross the center line then swerve to the right. A stop was conducted and the driver stated he hadn't been paying attention to the road, "because he was looking at his girlfriend's makeup." He was arrested after a check of his license revealed it was revoked for DUI.
Oct. 28
Police were called to a residence on Walkers Church Road, where a man reported his son's had a fight after, "drinking all night." One man, 37, was found to have blood on his chest. His brother, 27, had blood on his nose and arm. They told police the fight was over with and wouldn't comment on who started it. They were each explained the process for private prosecution and left the residence separately.
Wise County Sheriff's Office
Oct. 27
Dispatch was advised of someone in the parking lot of the Kmart in Wise, wearing a horse mask. They also held a sign: "The end in nay."
