KINGSPORT — Police are investigating vandalism to Dobyns-Bennett High School’s electronic message board along Fort Henry Drive, in which it appears someone shot the structure several times with an undetermined firearm.
Police were called to the school Tuesday after technicians working on the sign noticed the damage.
Though the sign still functions, damages incurred to the front and side are estimated at $7,000. Anyone with information on the incident is asked to contact Kingsport investigators at (423) 229-9429.
