Universal Fibers had asked for the visit from the Mitt Romney-Paul Ryan GOP presidential ticket to showcase what is happening with exports.
"China is doing what is good for China," said Marc Ammen, Universal Fibers CEO. "And President Obama is taking credit for exports."
About 100 to 200 company day shift workers were in the crowd to hear Ryan, who charged that Obama is about 9 million jobs short from what his 2008 campaign promised.

Vice presidential nominee Paul Ryan is currently speaking to about 2,000 cheering supporters at Universal Fibers, saying President Barack Obama has no vision for a second term while his tax policies are helping foreign competition.

BRISTOL, Va. - More than 2,000 people are expected to gather by noon today at Universal Fibers in the Bristol/Washington County Industrial Park to hear Republican Vice Presidential nominee Paul Ryan speak at a rally staged by the Mitt Romney for President campaign.
A Rasmussen Reports telephone survey, released before Monday's final presidential debate between Romney and Democrat incumbent President Barack Obama, showed Romney with 50 percent support to Obama's 47 percent among likely Virginia voters.
But the polling organization also showed Virginia remains a tossup state in its electoral college projections.
The Rasmussen survey indicated Virginia voters trust Romney more to handle the economy, but believe Obama better understands the issues of the middle class.
