A Kingsport man has been killed after his car exited Fall Creek Road Tuesday night, striking a utility pole and partially ejecting him from the vehicle. He was not wearing a seat belt.
The Sullivan County Sheriff's Office reports Benjamin C. Hubble, 29, of Woodcliff Drive, was transported to the hospital where he was later pronounced dead. Police were called to the crash shortly after 8:30 p.m, where they found Hubble's 2008 Honda Civic had been traveling south on Fall Creek Road. He reportedly lost control in a curve and went into a culvert before hitting the pole.
Conditions were wet at the time of the incident, with an investigation into the crash is ongoing.
