911 call: Sullivan man 'having relations with dogs'

Aug. 20

A man "not taking his meds" was reportedly walking around a county mobile home park. The caller stated the suspect's pants were "falling off" and he was going door to door to find a place to sleep. Three minutes later a dispatcher was advised the man is, "having relations with dogs." Police responded to the scene, with a report making no mention of "relations." It does state two dogs were at the home, with one being "extremely aggressive." Meanwhile the man, whose buttocks were exposed, "continued to have a full conversation on his own." He was transported to the hospital by EMS.

Aug. 22

A man requested police check on his girlfriend, who, "still lives with her husband." He claimed the husband is "mean to her" and he hasn't been able to reach her in two days.

Three people were escorted out of Bristol Motor Speedway after throwing beer cans in seating sections G and H.

Hawkins County Sheriff's Office

Aug. 20

Police filed a theft report on an employee recently fired from a Bulls Gap market. She had allegedly scratched $800 in lottery tickets which she did not pay for.

Kingsport Police Department

Aug. 19

Police were asked to check on a man at a West Stone Drive motel. He had reportedly smoked three rocks of crack cocaine, according to the caller, and is "going through a lot of problems."

Wise County Sheriff's Office

Aug. 16

A Norton woman told dispatch that a "huge momma copperhead" was in her house. The caller, who was outside at the time, claimed the snake was "banging" at the windows and "spitting venom" on her door.
