Johnson City police caught two burglars hiding in the attic of a Delaware Street residence Monday night, police said in a news release.
Brandon Rice, 28, and Whitney Hixson, 24, both general delivery, Johnson City, were charged with burglary and resisting arrest.
Police were called to 304 Delaware St. about 7:45 p.m. on a report of a burglary in progress and found Rice and Hixson trying to hide under the attic insulation. Rice and Hixson were arrested after briefly refusing to come out of the attic, police said.
