A caller from Wise reported children had an adult restrained inside a residence after, "playing with handcuffs." Officers responded to find a mother and son cuffed together, freeing the restrained pair.
A Norton caller alerted dispatch to a man "trying to illegally dump" hazardous materials in his neighborhood. A deputy responded to talk to the suspect in question, learning there was no criminal activity. He was just trying to level his driveway.
April 3
A man in Pound wanted to check the validity of a call he had received. He said he was told that a motor vehicle transporting zoo animals had wrecked — letting loose a Bengal tiger in the area. He thought the tale was likely a hoax, with dispatch confirming they had received no such reports.

April 1
A lawnmower and gas were reported stolen from Fedderson Street.
Juveniles on Bloomingdale Road were allegedly egging vehicles.
April 2
At 10:37 a.m. dispatchers were alerted to a man standing beside a pickup at I-81's mile marker 58. Except for a pair of tennis shoes, according to the caller, the man was, "naked from the waist down." He was also alleged to have, "his privates in his hands." Twenty minutes later THP located the truck and naked man at mile marker 71, according to dispatch records, with backup requested and received from Bristol police. A THP trooper tells the Times-News that the suspect was arrested at the scene without incident.
Someone reported the theft of $2,100 from a locked car on Newland Avenue.
A caller from Camila Avenue claimed to have been, "hit in the head with a handgun."
April 3
Dispatch received "several" 911 hang up calls from children on Woods Edge Drive.
Someone at a Colonial Heights church called police on teenagers riding skateboards in the parking lot, adding that they've previously been told not to do.

March 31
A man claimed to have been slapped in the face several times by a woman in Suroginsville. He then attempted to leave her residence by driving through her yard, but got stuck in mud. A tire on his vehicle was found to be flat, which he suspected the female of slicing, but an officer could find no evidence of vandalism. There was also no physical signs to support his claim of being assaulted, thus no police action was taken.
April 1
On Highway 70 North police clocked a vehicle traveling 63 in a 45 mph zone. A stop was conducted and the driver was found to have needle marks, "all the way up to the biceps on both arms." The reporting officer says several marks were large, oozing infections, with the driver admitting to shooting up drugs. He was arrested on outstanding warrants, DUI and speeding.
April 2
A vandalism report was filed at a Rogersville home, where someone had spray painted a racial slur on the bumper of a vehicle.
Police responded to a report of domestic assault at a Church Hill residence. Upon arrival a woman claimed her daughter, 37, had became, "irate over a television show." The daughter then allegedly grabbed her mother by the hair and threatened to kill her, later admitting to the incident to police. She was arrested.

April 2
At a Lynn Garden gas station police checked the welfare of a woman, who had reportedly been sitting in her vehicle at the fuel pumps for approximately 6 hours. An officer found her alert and awake, but she refused to answer questions from police or EMS personnel. Once physically removed from her vehicle she was asked again what was wrong, offering only the response, "I hate you." She was then arrested for disorderly conduct.
