BLOUNTVILLE -- A Kingsport woman charged along with her husband in two alleged robberies of local pharmacy customers has been indicted.
A Sullivan County grand jury on Wednesday indicted April Galliher, 33, 5008 Surrey Drive, on a single count of robbery. The charge stems from her alleged role in a Jan. 23 robbery of a woman who had just exited P&S Pharmacy, 613 Watauga St.
According to the Kingsport Police Department, the victim reported a man had snatched medication from her, knocking her to the ground.
KPD Sgt. Chris Tincher previously told the Times-News the woman suffered scrapes and bruises.
The man ran to the back of the store and jumped in a gold Kia driven by a blond female.
An investigation identified the suspects as April Galliher and John Galliher, 31, of 5614 Orebank Road, Kingsport. John Galliher has also been charged with robbery in the incident. His case is still pending in Kingsport Sessions Court.
