JOHNSON CITY — Two men invaded a residence in the Tree Streets section of Johnson City on Saturday with a shotgun and robbed the residents, assaulting one, police said this morning in a news release.
Police said the two men — one black, one Hispanic — went into 108 West Pine Street and robbed the residents at gunpoint. The black man was carrying a long-barrel weapon, which police also described as shotgun used to assault one victim.
The men stole a wallet with an undetermined amount of cash, two cell phones and Fentenyl pain patches. The victim was struck with the shotgun’s stock, and he received a facial laceration. He was taken to Johnson City Medical Center, where he was treated and released.
