March 8
Police were called to a fight in the parking lot of a West Stone Drive restaurant and bar. When they arrived two males were "actively struggling and trying to fight" while bystanders attempted to keep them separated. Both men allegedly resisted police and were Tasered several times, while a burst of pepper spray was also administered to one suspect's face. It took multiple officers to bring the men into custody, with each ultimately charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. One was additionally charged with assaulting an officer and public intoxication.

March 8
Police were asked to check on a female riding a golf cart on Weaver Branch Road.
March 9
A county resident wanted to speak with an officer about a woman who keeps coming onto their property, "screaming and yelling."
Police responded to a crash on Forest View Road. The driver had fled, but a passenger on scene identified the man as a friend who had offered him a ride. The passenger told police he had originally declined the offer, but then agreed when the driver said he'd "go easy." Moments later the car's tires were spinning, according to the passenger, and the car accelerated to an estimated 60 mph. In a curve the driver exited the roadway, struck a ditch and flipped the vehicle. He was soon located inside his nearby home by police, hiding in the floor behind a bed. He was arrested and charged with aggravated assault, speeding, DUI and leaving the scene of a crash.
Dispatch was advised of a suspicious vehicle in the area of Sullivan Gardens. It allegedly contained a male with a handgun, which the caller said he would point, "to act like he was shooting at you."
March 10
A Bluff City man claimed that his wife's cousin, "came in and started beating up on me."
A woman told dispatch that she had let her brother use a car, but he no refuses to return it. The caller said that her brother is now at another siblings home, telling them that he paid $25 to buy the vehicle.
Hawkins County Sheriff's Office
March 7
A Rogersville woman allegedly shoved her husband and spit in his face, admitting to police that she has anger control issues. She was arrested for domestic assault.
March 8
A man who maintains several Redbox kiosks reported a unit outside a Bulls Gap business had been burglarized, with 150 DVDs stolen. He stated that within the last three weeks two additional rental stations, one in Kingsport and one in Greene County, had also been broken into.
A woman visited the Sheriff's Office to report vandalism to her vehicle, which police observed had incurred damage to the driver's side mirror. She had no idea who could have committed the crime, but believed it was caused by someone throwing "a large root vegetable."
March 9
A Mooresburg man reported receiving a call from a neighbor, who relayed that five juveniles were inside a residence he is building. When he arrived to the construction site the children were gone, but multiple holes were found in the plywood, profanity was written on several walls.
At Hawkins County Memorial Hospital a deputy conducted a traffic stop for out of date registration, learning the driver's license was also suspended. She told police her husband had to go to the ER to get a rabies shot, due to their dog having rabies. Following their release from medical care she was placed under arrest for driving on suspended and transported to jail. A records check also revealed she had an active warrant for violation of probation.
March 10
Police responded to a complaint of someone attempting to enter a Rogersville home. Upon arrival a deputy located the suspect, a South Carolina woman, inside a nearby parked vehicle. She allegedly believed that the Rogersville resident may be her biological mother, admitting to using Google to hunt up her address and come ask her. When the resident was questioned she adamantly denied that the woman is her offspring, adding that she wants nothing to do with, "a stranger." She further advised that the South Carolina woman had found her picture on Facebook — sending her 350 messages via the website — and has previously "done this" to people in other states. Police ordered the suspect not to return for any reason or she would be charged with trespassing.
